Many developers have installed Java SE 5.0 on their development machines and configured the eclipse 3. X version. Everything works normally. However, after Oracle 9i is installed on the machine, eclipse cannot be started. Check that the Java environment variable configuration is normal. Why? In fact, the reason is very simple. For eclipse 3.1.2 or 3.2, jdk1.4.2 or later versions are required. After installing Oracle 9i, right-click my computer and on the Properties panel, click Advanced to view system variables in environment variables, find the value of the PATH variable, and you will find that some content is added, which applies the JDK that comes with Oracle 9i, and the version is 1.3.1. The problem lies here. Delete it and only keep the following parts: D:/Oracle/ora92/bin; (Note: My oracle is installed on D :/).
Click OK and re-openEclipse.EclipseYou can use it normally.
