Eclipse Usage Summary

Eclipse uses Java EE version of Eclipse to develop dynamic WEB Engineering (Javaweb project)

1. Switch development options to Java EE
2. You can find the package Explorer in Windows-a Show View and drag it to the left of the development zone
3. Create a new Tomcat server in the Servers panel. Be sure to associate to the root directory of the Tomcat installation
4. Create a new Dynamic Web Project. Where Target Runtime needs to select Tomcat6.0
5. Developing Java WEB Applications
6. You can run the WEB project through run on server.

Eclipse's own customization 右键-->新建What's inside?

In eclipse, for example, there is 右键-->新建 no JSP, no XML, and so on, we need the common file types, can be customized manually.

1. Windows-->Customize Perspective-->Shortcuts
2. Select the new content you want based on your needs

Eclipse frequently used shortcut keys summary shortcut key settings

It contains all the shortcut key information, can view and modify

Window-->Preferences-->General-->Keys

Common shortcut keys

• Alt+/: Auto-complete
• Alt+↑: Moves the row up one line
• Alt+↓: Moves the row down one line
• Ctrl+Alt+↑: Copy the current line to the top row
• Ctrl+Alt+↓: Copy the current line to the following line
• ctrl+o: Fast Outline
• ctrl+.: Moves the cursor to the next report fault or warning in the current file
