Four, in the details pane, right-click the policy that you want to modify, and then click Properties.

Select the Define these policy settings check box.

Change the settings for this policy, and then click OK.

• You must be logged on as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings can also prevent you from completing this step.

C. The security settings on the workstation or server, every 90 minutes, and on the domain controller, refresh every 5 minutes. The security settings are refreshed every 16 hours, regardless of whether or not changes are made.
