Effect of i++ position change in Java for loop

Source: Internet
Author: User

There is a Java code like this:

for (int i = 0; i < 3;i++) {System.out.println (i); if (i = = 1) {continue;}}

The operating result is:

0

1

2

Visible, i++ was executed after continue. What if we move the i++ from the parentheses to the back of the if conditional sentence?

for (int i = 0; i < 3;) {System.out.println (i); if (i = = 1) {continue;} i++;}
The operating result is:

0

1

1

......

Visible,i++ is not executed.

It can be seen that i++ in parentheses and outside the brackets have an effect on the results of program execution.
