[Efficiency] Simple tomato timer designed for Win7 systems, simple win7 Timer
Time flies, and it has been almost three years since I tried my best to work with tomato! Persistence for such a long period of time is mainly due to its simplicity. However, for a long time, seven different tomato timers have not been found satisfactory:
■ The mechanical noise is too high, which may impede colleagues and can only be used at home. However, the house was too quiet, and once the bell rang, it was like a blue ray, and I was shocked.
■ There are a wide variety of timer apps on mobile phones, focusing on visual effects, task management, and ease of use, but they all have a common drawback: do not keep the screen always on (too expensive), often forget it. In addition, if you are afraid of affecting your colleagues, you will usually turn off the ringtones. If you just rely on the vibrations, you will often not feel them.
■ The timer on the computer is ugly. Minimize to invisible to the tray, and there is no sense of presence at all. Accidentally placing it on the taskbar will divert attention and feel out of the way.
■ Another disadvantage of apps and pc software is that the remaining time and progress bar cannot be seen in real time, and there is no sense of time passing. When the timing is over, a dialog box is displayed, which is scary.
In fact, what I want is this:
■ When you want to see it, it will be there without additional operations; when you want to ignore it, no additional operations are required.
■ There is no form, and it won't suddenly appear in the work zone. You have to click the small Minimize button.
■ Even if you accidentally click the timer icon, nothing will happen. Don't worry that it will cause you more trouble.
■ Display the remaining time and progress bar in real time.
■ At the end of the timer, a dialog box does not pop up, which is a scary hop and does not affect others. It automatically switches to the 5-minute rest mode and continues flashing the yellow progress bar, which is mild and can also be noticed.
■ A dialog box will pop up at the end of the rest, and the user will confirm and start the new tomato time.
After finding failure on the internet, I decided to implement it myself. In fact, implementing such a simple thing is a matter of minutes ~ (I won't tell you how it took me 5 hours to create an icon)
What should I do if I want to start a new tomato time in the middle? Close the program and run it again (^ ω ^). It is recommended to lock the program to the taskbar and drag it to the far left of the taskbar, so it is easier to close or start it.
