ADSL disconnection involves many problems, including line faults (line interference), ADSL modem faults (fever, quality, compatibility), Nic faults (slow speed, drive Program Old) and so on. The operator and the user shall perform the following routine checks: whether the ADSL telephone line connection is secure and reliable: whether to stay away from the power cord and high-power electronic equipment; Whether to install telephone extensions, fax machines, toll collectors and other equipment between the ADSL entry line and the separator: whether the splitter is correctly installed; old ISA Nic replaced with a 10/100 m pci Nic and the latest driver; whether the heat dissipation of ADSL modem is good; whether the status of ADSL modem indicators is normal.
The causes and solutions for ADSL disconnection are as follows:
(1) Quality of the ground wire.
PC grounding performance must be good. Otherwise, static electricity may affect the transmission rate of ADSL and may even cause disconnection. Generally, the PC grounding resistance should be less than 10Ω. In addition, due to the irregular distribution of power supply during construction, some of them do not have a ground wire, or the ground wire quality is unqualified, it may also affect the normal use of network equipment, or even cause a disconnection problem, which should be rectified in a timely manner.
(2) The line has a strong interference source.
Strong signal interference sources such as radio towers, electric welders, trams, and high-voltage power transformers within M of the user's cable line, so that the user can deprecate and receive clutter (weak shielding of copper clad steel lines. strong signal reception capability), causing strong interference to the user line. The interference signal usually enters from the unshielded offline part, because the relay cable has a shielded layer, which has little impact on interference. If some unshielded signals are used to go offline, this will reduce the rate instability or disconnection caused by interference. In addition, the power cord cannot be parallel with the ADSL line to prevent ADSL Faults due to crosstalk.
(3) The network card quality is unstable.
A fault occurs when the network is disconnected and cannot be connected again. The DSL lights of the user modem are always on, and line faults are basically eliminated. Most problems are caused by the NIC. If the problem of network cable, microcomputer, and slot is ruled out, it is generally because the quality of the network card is unstable and the network card should be replaced in time.
(4) The user line is far away.
Irregular dropped lines are mostly caused by poor line quality or long distance. The ADSL tester can test signal attenuation and interference strength to find a better line replacement. Generally, the number of user relay lines should not exceed 5 km. The number of incoming calls from the binning box to the user's room should not exceed 100 MB.
(5) can access the Internet, but the phone is offline.
Most of the reasons are the disconnection of the terminal board. The disconnection head is very close to the terminal board, so the data can be sensed and the voice cannot pass. If the user is very close to the local terminal, mixed indoor cables can also cause the above faults.
(6) There is no balance between surfing the Internet and making calls.
It is generally caused by poor external insulation or poor contact with connectors. The user's external line is poorly insulated. When the user accesses the Internet, the alarm light on the phone handle will flash, the WAN light will go off, and the fault will be immediately removed after the external line is repaired.
(7) can communicate, but the Internet is offline.
Generally, when a user connects to the wrong line, the line connected to the modem is connected to the phone, and the phone can be used, but the Internet is disconnected. The line light of the ADSL modem status light is not on. Check the wiring position of the device carefully before checking the fault. Do not change the wiring position as much as possible to avoid wiring errors.
(8) The telephone extension is incorrect.
The telephone extension is incorrectly connected, causing crosstalk and Internet data distortion. If you must use a telephone extension, a separator should be connected.
