Eight simple settings to speed up your IE8 browser

1. Disable redundant plugins

Select Toolbars > Manage Add-ins to view the plug-ins you have installed. If you are sure that a plugin you no longer need, you can click it to select Disable option.

You can do the experiment: The worst case scenario is that some Web pages will not display properly. If this happens, you can reboot the plugin and everything will be back to normal.

2. Removal accelerator

Select the accelerator option on the left side of the admin add-in window. If you don't need some of these tools, you can choose to disable or remove them.

Select the search provider on the left side of the admin add-in window to remove the search engine that you do not want to use.

3. Download more files at the same time

Double-click MaxConnectionsPerServer and Maxconnectionsper1_0serve, select Decimal, set each number to 10, and restart the computer.

4. Save time

Some programs will set IE browser to check the new page on each visit, which will affect the user's browser speed.

To solve this problem, click the toolbar >internet option > Browse history settings to verify that the newer version of all pages is set to Automatic.

5. Configuring Temporary Files

is still the Browse History Settings window, which confirms that the disk space used by the IE temporary file is the default value of "50MB".

If your PC has multiple disks, make sure that the temporary files are stored as quickly as possible.

6. Thorough clean-up

The IE8 cache may be problematic even if it is configured correctly. As a result, some pages will load slowly and sometimes the browser will crash.

Select Tools > Delete Browsing history, select the type of file you want to delete, and click the Delete option.

7. Open Pop-up Blocker

Some windows will take up your bandwidth and slow down your browsing speed. Click the toolbar >internet options > Privacy to confirm that the Pop-up Blocker is turned on.

Click on the setup option to check the Web site that allows the window to be displayed, removing all unwanted sites from the list.

8. The final step

Click the toolbar >internet options > Connect > LAN Settings. Home users do not need to turn on "Automatic Detection settings" (Affect IE performance). Reboot the computer after setting.
