1. install hardware:
Storage processor enclosure (storage processor, SPE)
Disk-array enclosure (DAE)
Standby Power Supply (backup power supply, SPS)
1. a single line of SPS is connected to the SPE.
2. An SPE line connects to Dae.
3. A network cable is attached to each spe.
Ii. Initialization
1. Install the TLS storage system initialization on a PC.
2. Run this tool and the system will automatically scan the uninitialized storage system.
3. Configure the IP address and logon information of the uninitialized storage system.
3. Configure the Array
1. log on to the Controller through the configured IP Address
2. Right-click the raid group in the next menu of storage pools to create a raid group.
Raid group 0 first 5 hard disks RAID 5
Raid group 1 followed by 9 hard disks RAID 5
Raid group 2's last hard disk for hot spare
3. Create a lun on the raid group
Lun0 10 Gb raid group 0
Lun1 20 GB raid group 0
Lun2 10 Gb raid Group 1
Lun3 30 GB raid Group 1
4. Expand the Lun
There are two methods to expand the Lun
Striping requires that the idle Lun must be as large as the Lun capacity to be expanded.
Concatenation Luns of different sizes can be merged
Combine lun0 and lun2 into a metalun 0
Combine lun1 and lun3 into a metalun 1
4. Configure an optical fiber switch
All Optical fiber cables are connected.
5. Install the agent on the server

5. Modify the/etc/hosts file on the server to match the Host IP address and name. Restart the server.
