In fact, in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty, the only difference between the desktop version and Netbook version is whether Dash is full screen by default. In the desktop version, we only need to set a little bit to get the same full screen effect, the method is as follows:
- Install dconf-tools: sudo apt-get install dconf-tools
- Run dconf-editor on the terminal
- Find Desktop> Unity settings
- Change the form factor setting item to Netbook.
