Enable "minimize clicks" for Ubuntu Dock

Source: Internet
Author: User

The Ubuntu Dock (the taskbar on the left side of the screen) makes it easy to open, manage, and switch your favorite apps to running apps.

I love to click on the app icon in the dock to restore, toggle and minimize it. This is the default behavior in Windows.

But by default, the Ubuntu dock turns off this option.

Simply run this command in the terminal application, and you can easily enable the minimize operation for the Ubuntu dock:

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock click-action ‘minimize‘

The change takes effect immediately.
