Enable sqlplus in RHEL5 to support echo

By default, oracle10g sqlplus installed on Linux does not support ECHO, which makes it inconvenient to use. To support echo function, we need rlwrap.

By default, Oracle 10 Gb sqlplus installed on Linux does not support ECHO, which makes some inconvenience, we need the rlwrap software to help.

First download the rpm package or source code package for the rlwrap-0.30-1.el5.i386, and then install it. You only need to add rlwrap before sqlplus, for example, rlwrap sqlplus.

For ease of use, you can set an alias for it in/home/oracle/. bashrc.

Alias sqlplus = 'maid sqlplus'

Alias rman = 'rlwrap rman'
