Enable SSH access in Ubuntu

Install the SSH service [plain] sudo apt-get install openssh-server Ubuntu by default, if your system is not installed, use apt-get to install it. Then confirm whether the sshserver has started: [plain] ps-ef | grep ssh. If only the ssh-agent is enabled, the ssh-server is not started yet./etc/init is required. d/ssh start. If you see sshd, it indicates that the ssh-server has been started. The ssh-server configuration file is located in/etc/ssh/sshd_config. Here, you can define the SSH service port. The default port is 22. You can define other port numbers, such as 222. Then restart the SSH service: [plain] sudo/etc/init. d/ssh restart
