Enable your webpage to support the iPhone springboard icon

I recently made an iPod touch, which is quite good.

IPod Touch has a function: In addition to adding a webpage to favorites, you can also select to add a webpage shortcut to springboard and display the webpage as a shortcut icon.

Here is a tip. In Apple's iPhone development manual, this icon can be customized and implemented easily.

 

First, prepare an rgba PNG icon of 57px × 57px, for example, the following:

 

Add the following line to the head of your webpage:

 

< Link REL = "Apple-touch-icon" Href = "Icon URL"   />

 

That's OK. It's easy.

 

Then, add the webpage to springboard from the iPod Touch or iPhone. The shortcut icon that appears is your own custom icon. For details, refer to the following:
