Encrypt Your email through AES or DES
Recently, due to the PRISM program, many people are considering the security of email. There are also many ways to encrypt emails such as Gmail. The following method uses the AES or DES encryption standard for encryption. You do not need to install any plug-in to encrypt the email. All you need to do is to click it before sending an email.
The following uses Gmail and TextEncrypt as examples:
How to encrypt mail:
1. In TextEncrypt, paste the text to be encrypted into the form above, select the encryption algorithm, enter the password, and click the [encryption] button to encrypt the text to get the encrypted content code.
2. Open Gmail to write an Email, enter the recipient's Email address, paste the Email content encrypted with TextEncrypt into the Gmail body, and click Send Email to Send it.
How to decrypt an email:
1. log on to the Email and copy all received emails to the clipboard.
2. Open TextEncrypt, paste the email content to the following form with the encryption result, select the encryption algorithm, enter the password, and click [decrypt] to view the email content.
Note:
These online encryption tools encrypt information through standard encryption tools such as AES or DES. The same algorithm must be used for encryption and decryption.
This method can be used not only for Email encryption, but also for other communication methods such as QQ and Outlook.
If you are not at ease with online encryption websites, you can use the single-host encryption software to encrypt data locally offline, and then send the data by Email and notify the recipient to use the same software for decryption.
