English VS2010 installing the Chinese version of the MSDN documentation method

Released on April 12, 2010, the official version of Visual Studio and. NET 4. May 26 Microsoft released the Visual Studio and. NET 4 RTM Chinese version, we prefer to use the English version of VS2010, but want to install the Chinese version of the MSDN documentation to learn new things.

Installation method

We can install the Chinese version of the MSDN documentation separately in this way before the download is available in the individual MSDN Chinese version.

1. Install Help Library manager Chinese Language Pack

Locate the WCU Help folder in Cn_visual_studio_2010_ultimate_x86_dvd_532347.iso and install the CHS language Pack for the corresponding platform (32-bit, 64-bit). For example, my Computer 64-bit, install Helpsetuplp_x64_chs.exe can. 2. Set the Help Library Manager regional language

Open the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Start menu in Visual Studio Tools manage Help Settings-enu Right-click Properties tab, locate the shortcut target, modify its regional language: ZH-CN

3. Use Help Library Manager to install the Chinese version of the MSDN documentation

Open the Manage Help Settings-enu in Visual Studio Tools in the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Start menu. The interface is as follows:

We install the contents from the disk, select the Cn_visual_studio_2010_ultimate_x86_dvd_532347.iso inside the Productdocumentation folder Helpcontentsetup.msha file. If you do not have the Chinese version of ISO, you can also choose to install the content online, install MSDN in English documents online.

4. Browse the MSDN documentation

At this point, open the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Start menu on the documentation shortcut, locale=en-us after the browser address modified to locale= ZH-CN can open the browser version of the MSDN documentation.
