Entity framework–update Model from Database, part 2

The Update model from database is an important improvement feature of the EDM designer, supporting the addition of new database tables and columns, which allows the Model to correctly handle the renaming of types and properties, and to detect inheritance and mapping changes. Here, we briefly describe the use of this feature and its limitations.

Down again to update model, this time adding 2 of these new tables. Model related part of the update is as follows:

Now we copy the attributes from the suppliercontract to the suppliers type and delete the suppliercontracts type. Next to the table mapping view of the Suppliers type, click <add a table or view> unit and select suppliercontracts and map suppliers type to suppliercontracts table. The mapping view is shown in the following illustration:
