Influenced by chaos University and Li Shanyou, he began to learn important theories of important disciplines, such as mechanical theory, natural choice, atomic theory, uncertainty, non-continuity, entropy increasing law, and so on.
Recently I learned entropy increasing law, I .e. the second law of thermodynamic (physics). I suddenly want to understand an extremely important truth, which affects people's attitudes and their self-cultivation: human body is essentially material, so some laws of people and society also follow these laws of physics.
What is entropy increase law?
Also called the Second Law of thermodynamic: the entropy of an isolated system always increases. When two systems are connected together, the entropy of the merged system is greater than the sum of Entropy of all individual systems.Entropy refers to the disorder of a system..
As early as 1947, Xue Dinge (yes, the cat-abuse madman) pointed out that the process of entropy increase must also be reflected in the life system. The human body is a huge chemical reaction database, and the metabolic process of life is based on biochemical reactions. From a certain perspective, the significance of life lies in its ability to resist its own entropy increase, that is, its ability to decrease entropy. In human life chemistry activities, spontaneous and non-spontaneous processes exist simultaneously and are mutually dependent. Because of the inevitability of entropy increase, the life bodies are constantly going from orderly to unordered, and ultimately inevitably die from aging. (I have to admire the great schör)
Individuals
From a certain point of view, life extracts "orderly" from the environment to maintain its own "orderly": eating and drinking is one of the processes of "orderly" uptake, the degree of order of food is reduced after digestion, and the "disorder" is finally discharged back to the environment in the form of Lazarus. In addition, organisms emit Residual Entropy generated during physiological processes to the environment by distributing heat (the higher temperature of warm-blooded animals is conducive to more efficient elimination of entropy, therefore, a stronger life process can be generated ). In general, the emission entropy is greater than the negative entropy of the uptake, so the entropy increase principle is satisfied.
However, individual desires are the trend of natural development (the process of increasing entropy). If they are not managed or controlled (the process of decreasing entropy), the human body will inevitably become chaotic and eventually die, therefore, we should cultivate our own self-cultivation and use our own entropy reduction to combat the inevitable entropy increase.
Society
The same is true for society. It is actually a huge system composed of various relationships between people. If individuals are not managed or controlled, the system will inevitably tend to be chaotic. Because human nature always tends to act in favor of itself. Without rational and standardized management, the relationship between people will inevitably deteriorate.
In fact, each of us is doing things that make disorder orderly every day, but everyone is unconscious. If we make this kind of behavior conscious, it is very helpful for us to understand things, our attitudes and beliefs will be different.
A happy family is similar, but an unfortunate family has its own misfortune. This is an order and disorder. The intimacy between good friends is similar, and the reason for disassociation is various, which is also orderly and disordered. The health indicators are similar, and the cause of death is various, which is also orderly and disordered. The road to success in life is similar, and the reasons for failure are various, which are also orderly and disordered.
