This paper introduces the knowledge of geo-reference data and two kinds of correction methods of image-to-image and image-to-map in Envi.
1. Open the base image xx.img and the image to be corrected yy.img (without geographic information, you can double-click its main image window to see that only pixel coordinates have no geographic coordinates in the Cursor Location/value dialog box) and display them in two windows.
2. Once two images have been displayed, select Map--registration--select gcps:image to image in the ENVI main menu
3. When the image to Image Registration dialog box appears, click to select the display of the base image (the reference image) under base image. Under "Warp image" Click to select the display of the corrected image.
4. Click OK and the Ground Control Points Selection dialog box appears. Add ground Control points to the dialog box.
5, check the accuracy of each control point, RMS error and make appropriate changes
6, correct the image, in the ground Control Points Selection dialog box Select Options--warp file, select bldr_tm.img files, click OK, the Registration Parameters dialog box appears, Correction Method Select RST, resampling method using nearest neighbor sampling
7. The corrected image is dynamically linked and dynamically overwritten with the spot base image, and the corrected accuracy is checked.
