One, the annotation layer (Annotation)
The annotation layer is a data type of envi, and its suffix is. Ann. Often as a raster data layer, the vector data layer, three-dimensional scene will draw the graph of additional data superimposed on the above, but also as the mosaic image when the clipping line. The annotation data layer is a collection of annotation features, including text, symbols, graphs, scales, declination images, icons and other elements.
Open the way:
① Select Overlay>>annotation in the Display window.
② Select Options>>annotation in any of the drawing windows.
③ in the Vector display window, select Options>>annotation.
Annotation file generation process:
1. Display the image file and open the Annotation Tool dialog box.
Annotation Tool dialog box menu and its functions:
2. Select the annotation type, set the corresponding parameters, and add annotation.
Annotation Tool dialog box >>Object>> corresponding annotation type. Set different font colors, background color, border width, font size, and so on.
After setting the parameters, click the right mouse button to determine the location of the label.
3. Edit annotation, to edit one or more annotation features, select the Object>>select/edit command. In the Select window, the left-click Dropdown box is selected, and a colored diamond handle appears.
II. Results of the classification (classification)
Using the Classification menu option, you can overlay the category diagram on a grayscale or color image in a real window, control which classes are superimposed, edit the color and name of the classification, merge classes, and edit the classes by adding, deleting, or moving the cells between the classes, doing statistical analysis, and so on.
Select the image of the area in which the result of the classification is located, select the main window >>>overlay>>classification the corresponding classification results in the popup dialog box.

Three, contour line (Contour Lines)
Using the Contour Lines menu option, you can overlay contours on an image. Contour lines can also be generated from a displayed image or from another image, superimposed on a mutually-aligned image and automatically labeled with contours.
Specific use:
Open to display an image. Select the Ink Image window >overlay>contour Lines. In the pop-up Input Contour Band dialog box, select the bands that generate the contour lines.
Contour Lines dialog box menu commands and their functions:
Iv. Density Division (Density Slice)
Using the Density slice menu option, you can select the data range and color for the areas highlighted in the grayscale image. The range of data used for density-splitting shading can come from images that display images or other dimensions.
Specific use:
Display an image, select the main image window >>overlay>>density Slice, and in the Pop-up dialog box, select the band of density split.
Density Slice dialog box menu commands and their functions:
Five, grid line (grid Lines)
Using the Grid Lines menu option, you can overlay one or more grids on one image. Grids support cells, kilometers, or latitude and longitude. Each image has its own grid, which is displayed in the main Window scrolling window and magnification window.
In the Grid Lines dialog box, you can set the cell, kilometer, or latitude grid to display and hide the pass net interval.
The main commands and functions of the Grid lines menu:
Vi. area of interest (region of Interest)
An area of interest (ROI) is a part of an image that is generated by selecting it on an image or using methods such as set thresholds (thresholding) or other file transformations. The area of interest can be the irregular shape of the point line. A sample, mask, clipping area, and other operations that are typically classified as images.
Using the region of Interest menu option, you can build edits and analyze ROI. Provides six types of ROI: polygons, polylines, points, rectangles, ellipses, and rings.
(1) How to start the ROI tool:
① from the display window: Select overlay >region of Interest.
② from the display window: Select Tools>>region ofinterest>>>roitool.
③ from the main menu: Select Tools>>region of Interest>>roi Tool.
④ Right-click in the Display window and select Roi Tool from the shortcut menu that pops up.
Its main commands and functions are:
(2) Create an area of interest.
Select Roi_type on the ROI Tool dialog box to select the appropriate type, and use the mouse to draw the area of interest on the corresponding window.
Click the New Region button to create a new area of interest.
(3) Delete area of interest
There are several ways to delete an area of interest that does not meet the requirements: Click the Go To button and browse for the comparison to delete it individually.
(4) Save the area of interest:
ROI Tool Select File>save ROIs or in the display window Tools>region of Interest>>save ROIs to File.
Vectors (vector)
Using the Vector menu option, you can overlay envi supported vector file formats on the image, create new vector layers, control the display of vectors, and interact with vectors. You can also edit and query Shapefile-related properties using Envi's interactive vector tool.
The specific operation:
1) Open the display image.
2) Select the main image window: overlay>>vector, open the Vector Parameters dialog box.
3) in the Vector Parameters dialog box, select the File>>open vector file, and select the vectors where the image is located.
4) on the Vector Parameters dialog box, in the available vector layer list, select vector layers to set the display color (current layer).
5) Click the Apply button and the vector overlay is added to the image.
Viii. Enhancement (Enhance)
The image's enhanced menu allows you to manipulate the displayed data, including the default stretch, using the histogram for interactive contrast stretching and filtering. The ENVI also provides linear and non-linear stretching, which enhances the contrast of the image. The filter enhancement can be used for low-pass filtering, high-pass filtering, or middle-finger filtering of the image. The specific operation will be described later.
