1. First open the control panel
2. In the program and function window, find the HP printer driver and uninstall it.
3. Open C:/Windows/System32/spool/drivers/W32X86
Check whether there are 2 or 3 folders in this folder. Open the folder and delete the folder (do not delete the entire folder directly)
Check whether there are "hewlett_packard" and "hphp" files. If yes, delete them.
4. Click Start and enter regedit to open the registry editor.
Find the key value
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Print/Environments/Windows NT x86/Drivers
If Version-3 or Version-2 is enabled, right-click the HP printer name and delete it (if this step is not skipped)
5. Download the printer driver
Download from HP official website
Right-click a file and select extract
6. Click Start-Devices and Printers
7. Select Add local printer
8. Select "create a Port" and "Standard TCP/IP Port" as the Port type.
9. Enter the printer IP address
10. Install the driver. Select to install the driver from the disk.
11. Click to browse
12. Find the decompressed folder path of the driver just downloaded in step 1 and open the inf file.
13. Click OK.
14. Select the driver for your printer
Click next to complete the installation.
