The dependency is very complex. When you try to install any package first, this dependency error will occur. In this case, you should force the installation, I think that as long as you install all the packages required by the service or software, the forced installation will not go wrong and will not affect you.

It is very simple. You only need to add a -- force (force) and -- nodeps (no dependency search ).

For example: rpm-vih httpd-2.2.3-6.el5.i386.rpm -- force -- nodeps

 

You don't need to use -- force when uninstalling it. You just need to add -- nodeps.
