Some problems occurred when creating the cab installation package for windwo mobile today. I searched for the solution on the Internet and made it as follows:

 

Yesterday, I made the cab installation package for my Windows Mobile program for the first time. However, this problem occurs during the generation process:

The main file is successfully generated, but an error is prompted when the cab Installation File is generated. I searched for the whole afternoon on the Internet. I saw a lot of such problems encountered by netizens, but there were no less than a hundred such problems. There are also some solutions, but I cannot publish them using these methods. This error still occurs!

Later, after an hour of research at home, the cab file was successfully created. As long as you remember these points, this problem can be solved.

Two important points to remember are:

1. In the properties of the deployed installation package project, you must enter the manufacturer (manufacturer) item in English or a number, not Chinese. In this case, the "attribute" is not the property right-click after the project is selected, and after the project is selected, press the F4 key to display the window.
Change the value of the manufacturer item to non-Chinese.

2. Because the installation package has a "shortcut", you must change the "shortcut" name to non-Chinese in the "File System" window. You can! OK, success!
