In fact, we can make appropriate settings in the computer system where the broadband "cat" is located to allow it to automatically perform the dial-up connection after receiving the Internet request information sent by other computers, to improve the efficiency of dial-up Internet access on other computers, the specific implementation steps of this configuration are as follows:

First, log on to the computer system where the broadband "cat" is located as the system administrator, and then click "start" and "run" menu items one by one on the desktop of the system, in the subsequent dialog box, enter the "regedit" string command, and click the "OK" button for broadband dialing settings to go to the registry editing page of the system;

In the left-side list area of the registry editing window, locate the "HKEY_Current_User \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ InternetSettings" Registry branch project, and in the subwindow to the right of the corresponding project, check whether the "EnableAutodial" double-byte value exists. If the key value cannot be found, right-click the "InternetSettings" project, right-click the pop-up menu and execute the "new"/"Dword Value" command in sequence. Then, set the new dual-byte value name to "EnableAutodial ";

Next, double-click the double-byte value "EnableAutodial". In the edit double-byte Value dialog box that appears, enter the number "1" (2 ), click "OK" and restart the computer system. If we do not want the computer to automatically dial in the future, we can re-open the "EnableAutodial" Key Value Setting window, enter the number "0", and then restart the computer system.

Bandwidth dialing settings: Modify the dialing connection parameters to display the progress

I have been surfing the Internet through Telecom broadband dialing. Before I reinstall the operating system, I can see the specific dialing progress prompt every time I perform a dialing operation, however, since the operating system was re-installed for the computer, the system did not prompt the dialing progress information during the dialing operation. Now, how do we set a new dialing progress prompt?

Open the IE browser window, click the "Tools" menu item in the menu bar, and click the "Internet Options" command from the drop-down menu to open the Internet option setting interface; click the "connection" tab in the interface, and then click the "add" button on the corresponding option settings page to open the Internet Connection Wizard setting interface, select the "connect to the network through broadband" option on the settings page, and then follow the prompts in the settings window to complete the remaining dial-up Internet Settings.
