Establish a national interconnection project based on OSPF routing protocol (1)

Among all the previously introduced routing protocols, only the protocol for the National interconnection project of the IT Training Center of Rongxin foreign companies IS the network protocol of China.

The use of the OSPF Protocol requires that all devices use Cisco products, which greatly increases the cost of device procurement. So till now, the reason that the system cannot be widely used is also restricted by product monopoly. The performance of IS-IS sufficient to adapt to the national network interconnection project of IT training centers of Rongxin foreign companies. However, because IS-IS was originally an ISO standard protocol, it was designed for CLNS, later, we added support for IP addresses.

At the beginning, OSPF was designed by IETF for IP networks. Therefore, there IS still much room for development and improvement in the support for IP networks. OSPF is specially designed for IP addresses. It is more suitable for IP address routing. It is mature and has a high degree of standardization. It supports many vendors and has many disadvantages, such as exposure and improvement. Therefore, the OSPF routing protocol is already quite complete.

Based on the above considerations, the OSPF routing protocol is used to implement the nationwide interconnection project of the IT Training Center of Rongxin foreign companies. In fact, not only does the project adopt OSPF routing protocol as the dynamic routing protocol for networking, but OSPF routing protocol is almost the most widely used Routing Protocol in similar projects. Therefore, this section is also the core of this chapter.
