1. Visit codesourcery official website to download the latest arm cross compilation tool chain, the latest version is arm-2009q3:

$ Tar-jxvf arm-2009q3-67-arm-none-linux-gnueabi-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.bz23. Move to/usr below MV arm-2009q3/usr/4. Set the environment variable $ sudo Su # Vim/etc/bash. bashrc to add at the end:
Export Path = $ path:/usr/arm-2009q3/bin
Export path startup environment variable settings: # source/root /. bashrc check whether the setting is successful: # echo $ PATH result:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin: /bin:/usr/games:/usr/arm-2009q3/bin
