ESXi5.5 Interactive installation (i) installation via CD/DVD

ESXi5.5 There are a variety of installation methods, the first to talk about the most basic installation method today --- Interactive installation Methods

(1) Preparation tools:

1. in the VMware Download website ESXi5.5 installation ISO files (this article to Vmware-vmvisor-installer-5.5.0.update02-2068190.x86_64.iso as an example)

2. Blank CD/DVD CD

(2) installation steps:

a) burn the ESXi5.5 image file downloaded on the VMware website to a disc (omitted from the burn Step).

b) set the first boot order of the server to CD/DVD(please refer to the Server Administration manual, omitted here).

c) start the server and insert the disc.

d) when you reach the location, press "Enter" .

e) When you reach the location, press "Enter".

f) After the installer has finished load (this process takes a few minutes), when it arrives, press "Enter"

g) When the position is reached, press "F11".

h) The program starts scanning the hard disk information on the server, when the scan is complete, when it arrives, select the location where ESXi is installed, and then press Enter.

i) When you arrive, press "Enter".

j) When you arrive, enter the password two times (this is the root user's password for the ESXi system) and press "enter".

k) Wait a moment, and when you arrive, press "F11" to begin installing the ESXI system.

L) When the installation is complete, press "Enter" to restart the server, at this point, ESXi installation is complete.
