VMware Labs recently released a new fling called "ESXTOPNGC Plugin". A fling is not the official VMware product, it is developed by VMware engineers for the convenience of customers. Then see ESXTOPNGC plugin It's easy to know that this is a plugin for esxtop tools that can combine the results of esxtop into our vcenter server, so we can easily monitor our ESXi hosts in a graphical interface, For Esxtop Novice is a big benefit. Here's how to install the plug-in in vSphere5.5 VCSA:
Step 1: Prepare the WINSCP and SSH tools. Download ESXTOPNGC Plugin (HTTP://PAN.BAIDU.COM/S/1HQOWT60)
Step 2: Use WINSCP to connect to VCSA and upload the downloaded plugin to the root user directory.
Step 3: Use the SSH tool (PUTTY,SECURECRT) to connect to VCSA and use the unzip command to unzip the plugin in the root user directory:
Unzip esxtopngcplugin-01.zip-d/usr/lib/vmware-vsphere-client/plugin-packages/esxtop-plugin
Step 4: Restart the Vsphere-client service:
/etc/init.d/vsphere-client restart
Ok, here's the plugin installed, you can log in to vsphere WebClient to view Esxtop's content
Note: Windows version of the VC installation of the plug-in mode is more simple, you just need to extract the plug-in into a folder named Esxtop-plugin, and then copy the folder to the following directory after restarting the Vsphere-client service (I did not test)
C:\Program files\vmware\infrastructure\vspherewebclient\plugin-packages
