EWSA graphic tutorial on cracking WPA passwords

1. About EWSA
EWSA (Elcomsoft Wireless Security Auditor) is produced by Russian Security company Elcomsoft. The software features: the GPU computing performance quickly break through the wireless network WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK password, the computing speed can be improved up to times compared to the use of CPU alone.
Ii. Installation
The installation process is very simple. Download ewsa(click the download link, double-click setup.exe and select English. Then you can see the installation wizard. Basically, you can install it all the way to [Next. After the software is installed, the system prompts the DEMO version for the first run. After 15 seconds, the system automatically enters the program.
3. Supported video cards
1. NVIDIA graphics card
GeForce 8, 9,200 Series and later versions (at least 4600 MB memory), professional drawing cards, TESLA C870, D870, S870, C1060, S1070 launched after Quadro FX
Note that driver 2 and ATI graphics cards later than CUDA 182.22 must be installed for drawing cards launched after GeForce 8xxx.
Radeon hd 3000 Series, radeon hd 4600 Series, radeon hd 4800 Series and later versions, FireStream 9170,9250, 9270 FireStream 9170,9250, 9270 and N cards should be noted that the drawing card launched after Radeon 3xxx must be installed with drivers later than CATALYST 9.2.
Iv. User Manual
Before using the software, you must first grasp the WPA handshake package. There are many packet capture tools I recommend OmniPeek or aircrack-ng. If you are not used to English software, you can select a Chinese cool.
Note: currently, only the first two digits of the password are displayed after the official trial version is cracked. the genuine version is priced at $599 and supports up to 20 clients.
The software can pause the cracking progress at any time to avoid unnecessary repeated cracking processes. It is important to set a proper value for dictionary files based on the computing speed of your computer, for example, do not set the dictionary file on a computer with a password of 500/second to more than MB. On the one hand, the loading progress is particularly slow during the second cracking, at the same time, it may be difficult to pause the cracking to save the progress. As a result, there is a false presence or crash.
V. Cracking Flowchart
Step 1: Select Simplified Chinese. If the GPU top supports the video card, you can select some items.
Step 2: select a handshake package.


Step 3: select a dictionary.

 

Step 4: Click Start attack.

Step 5: Wait for the password to be cracked.
