Excel copy Format

Copying a cell or range of cells is one of the most frequently used operations. For example, we've created and set up a worksheet that you can use in a copy format if you want to use the same format for cells in other worksheets. Action steps are as follows:

(1) Select the cell or range of cells that contains the format you want to copy, as shown in Figure 6-40.

(2) Click "Format Painter".

(3) Select the cell or range of cells to which you want to set the new format and click. Figure 6-41 shows the steps for copying the format.
