Operation Steps

By default, in Excel, the date format we enter is "2005-1-16", which is not in line with the Chinese custom. We can set it to the Chinese date format by formatting.

Select the cell that contains the date, execute the format → cell command, open the Format Cells dialog box, select the Date option under category in the Value tab, and then select an appropriate date format under Type on the right to make sure you return.

Note: Select the cell that contains the date, right-click, and in the shortcut menu that pops up, select the Format Cells option, or you can quickly open the Format Cells dialog box.
