Operation Steps

When working with data in a function, it is often not known what function is appropriate to use. Excel's "search function" feature will help you narrow down and pick out the right function.

To perform the Insert → function command, open the Insert Function dialog box, to enter a requirement (such as count) in the box under Search function, and then click the Go button, the system immediately picks up the function related to count and displays it in the list box under Select function.

Select the appropriate function, click the "Help" button, you can quickly see the appropriate function to use the Help file.
