Excel 2003:
1. Click the menu "format → style" to eject the "style" dialog box. When the style name defaults to general, click the Modify button.
2. In the Format Cells dialog box, select the Font tab, select a font, font style, font size, and if you want to change to the default font, select Arial, General, 12.
3. Click "OK" two times. The line number column label font is modified to the selected font, but the font in the cell is also modified.
Excel 2007:
1. You can use the shortcut key "ALT + single quotes" To open the Style dialog box.
2. Click the Format button, and then modify it in the Font tab of the Format Cells dialog box.
In addition, for workbooks that are created in Excel 2007, you can change the font of row number labels by modifying the theme fonts. On the Page Layout tab, in the Themes group, click Font, and then select a font in the Drop-down list that pops up.
Note that the above method is valid only for the current workbook, and the row Number column label font for the new workbook is not affected.
