Excel2007 change the shape of an annotation
In general, cell annotations are rectangular, but not so. To change the shape of a cell annotation, add a command to the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT):
1. Right-click Qat and select Customize Quick Access Toolbar. The Customize section of the Excel Options dialog box appears.
2. In the Drop-down list labeled "Select commands from the following location", select the Drawing Tools/Format tab.
3. In the evil IJ table on the left, select Change Shape and click the Add button.
4. Click OK to close the Excel Options dialog box.
After you implement the above steps, QAT will have a new change shape icon.
To change the shape of an annotation, first make sure it is visible (right-click the cell and select Show/Hide annotation spoon. Then click the annotation border and select it as a shape (or hold down the CTRL key and click the annotation to select it as shape). Click the Change Shape button on the Qat and select a new shape for the annotation. Figure 5.17 shows a cell annotation with a nonstandard shape.
