In the EXCEL2010 worksheet, the user can set the selected cell to a numeric format that is specific to the date and time, so that it is more appropriate for the actual needs. EXCEL2010 offers 17 date-number formats and 9-time digital formats, such as "September 1, 2010", a commonly used time format in China. The steps for setting date and time number formats in Excel2010 are described below:
Step 1th, open the Excel2010 workbook window and select the cells you want to format the date and time numbers in. Right-click the selected cell and select Format Cells on the open shortcut menu, as described in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, in the Format Cells dialog box that opens, switch to the Number tab and select the Date or Time option in the Category list. Then select the date or time format you want in the list of date or time types, as shown in Figure 2.
