This article describes how to use a SmartArt production structure in excel2010. The drawing of the org chart is shown in Figure 1.

Step 1th, select the SmartArt feature under the Insert tab, select Hierarchy, and select a structure chart form. As shown in Figure 2.

OK, you can insert the simple structure diagram shown in Figure 3.

Users can also make changes in color and style according to their needs. As shown in Figure 4.

The 2nd step, enter the appropriate text.
Step 3rd, add the same level branch.
Special attention should be paid to "management representatives", as this position is located above the general manager and is under the position of "assistant" category. If the default chart does not appear in its branch, you can add the appropriate branch by selecting the General Manager-> add Assistant.
Since the general manager has 6 departments, the existing 3 departments are not enough, so you can select one of the departments, follow the right key-> "add Shape"-> "add Shape" (or front) to add a department. As shown in Figure 5.

Step 4th, add a lower level branch.
Because you need to add the next Level branch to the production department, select Production department, right-click-> Add Shape-> Add shape below (repeat 3 times) to add a branch of the workshop. As shown in Figure 6.
After you fill in the appropriate text, you get the structure diagram shown in Figure 7.

In order for the layout of the workshop to be consistent with figure 1, you can select both the "Production department" and the three workshops and switch the "layout" to the standard, as shown in Figure 8.

With this setting, you can get the organization chart shown in Figure 1.
If you need to change your organization chart style, you can also choose the layout you like in the Design tab, as shown in Figure 9.

At this point, the organization chart is drawn.
