The IBUs fails because the initial configuration of the IBUs takes user permissions:

And the configuration of the Firefox input method running under root still stays in the default condition ~

The solution is to run IBUs under the shell with root privileges, and then configure:

1. Shell input: sudoibus-setup (一定要加sudo，否则和直接点击menu上的preferences效果一样）

2, in the pop-up IBUs window to the hotkey and input method selection
