Exchange 2007 (i) 03R2 domain control upgrade to 2008R2

Recently tidying up your own computer. Found a test document written in 11, and the following is a revised content.

Prepared a 08R2 auxiliary domain control, after the transfer role, 08R2 to the primary domain control, remove the old domain control. Here is the test environment

First, 2008r2 to improve the preparation of domain control

1.1 Confirm that the forest and domain functional level is 2003 in the active director domain and in the trust relationship

1.2 Insert the 2008R2 disc on the original DC, switch to the X\support\adprep directory, and expand the forest/domain/RODC.

Third, transfer 5 operations master roles to 08R2, the following transfer operations are done under the graphical interface

3.1 Confirm the location of the current 5 operations master roles, and view the GC locations. As you can see, all the characters are on the DC-01. (View FSMO command: NETDOM query FSMO view GC command: dsquery SERVER-ISGC)

3.2rid/pdc/infrastructure three role transfers. Open the "operations master" of "AD Users and Computers" and click the "Change" button respectively. Transfer the rid/pdc/infrastructure to three roles.

3.3 Domain hit operations master role transfer, open the "operations master" in "AD Domain and trust relationships" and click the "Change" button. Transfer domain hit operations master role (click "Change Domain Controller" before transferring to select DCS-02)

3.4 Transfer the last role schema master. Start-run-enter Regsvr32 schmmgmt.dll prompt for success. In the run, enter MMC to add "AD schema" click OK. Click on "Operations master" to confirm the transfer success by clicking Change.

3.5 finally enter the ad site and service. Cancel the "Global Catalog GC" option on the DCS-01.
