Use the Outlook Web App policy mailbox policy to create a custom level policy to manage access to features in OWA

Use the Microsoft Outlook Web App mailbox Policies to create Organization-level policies to manage access to features in Outlo OK Web App.

See Microsoft Links for details:

In a nutshell, when we close a feature in the OWA virtual directory, the OWA feature is not available to all mailbox users in the company, and sometimes we just want someone or a department to be unable to use the features in OWA, then we can use Outlook Web App Policy.

For example, we find OWA in the virtual directory, and then double-click

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897706y0mc.png "" 624 "height=" 423 "/>

After double-clicking we navigate to the function, where we can turn off or enable OWA, but the closure here will affect all users in the enterprise

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897707jdss.png "" 624 "height=" 536 "/>

For example, by default, Exchange SP1 automatically creates a default policy that turns on all OWA functionality, but does not apply to any mailbox

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897707ppjn.png "" 624 "height=" 406 "/>

This is Microsoft's note

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897708nlda.png "" 624 "height=" 174 "/>

Below we directly edit the default policy, the calendar and task functions to cancel, and then save

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897708bz3g.png "" 624 "height=" 394 "/>

We select the user a001 in the recipient and select "View Details"

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897709c3ep.png "" 624 "height=" 423 "/>

For example, if no OWA policy is used by default, we select "Browse"

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 14098977097nmv.png "" 624 "height=" 423 "/>

Then select the default policy and select Save

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897709xwjd.png "" 624 "height=" 426 "/>

A001 Login OWA will not see the calendar and task features

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897710mn0f.png "" 624 "height=" 399 "/>

We can see calendars and tasks using the mailbox user a002 login, because he doesn't apply the default policy

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; margin:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201409/5/2754337_ 1409897710qcc3.png "" 624 "height=" 399 "/>
