Experience in installing feisty h5 on Hard Disk
I install feisty-alternate-i386.iso
Install slave Hard Disk
Download the corresponding Hard Drive boot files initrd.gz and vmlinuz from the network on the D: Disk
Download grubfordos and install it in c: \ to modify the menu. list file pointing to two files on disk d.
During installation, unplug the network cable. (You must unplug it. If it is not installed to 85%, it will not change. It may be that you download the Language Pack or something online. I think it is a desktop configuration .)
Select English as the language, and follow the prompts to select ubuntou desktop or no desktop in the middle.
Restart to complete installation
Modify the software source and install the Chinese Language Pack (I use the cn99 source)
Sudo apt-get install language-support-zh
Then select the Chinese Language
I don't think there are too many problems with this version. I'm trying it out.
