Experience of deploying Shufei OA on VPs VM instances

A vps vm instance is equivalent to an independent server. It is cost-effective and can be used as an entry-level choice for deploying the OA system and portal website. To deploy the dataworks OA system (www.saas88.com), www.nearich.com, and www.lx366.com on VPs, I used the http://www.5778.com in June 2011/(the first host, guangzhou) and http://www.v01.cn/(sentient beings network, Shanghai) (512 M, telecommunications), personal feelings have their own advantages and disadvantages.

1. Trial

2. Price: monthly payment is supported.

Guangzhou: 188 RMB/month; Shanghai: 199 RMB/month

 

3. Use (deploy the dataworks OA system, website testing, and the Environment is atat6 and jre16)

Guangzhou: Tomcat cannot be started at the beginning. A lot of time is wasted, and the JVM memory and MySQL memory can be started only after being adjusted to 64 MB.

Shanghai: The environment is set up and can be used once started, without wasting time.

 

4. Virtual Memory

Guangzhou: the virtual memory is 0 and cannot be modified. Some applications cannot be started. Shanghai: the virtual memory is 1536 MB.

 

5. Speed

Guangzhou: fast response speed; Shanghai: normal response speed. Shanghai has deployed the OA system and the neighboring fun Network, which is a better system than Guangzhou. Besides, I am in Shenzhen and may access the Guangzhou side quickly.

 

6. Disk partitioning

Guangzhou: only drive C; Shanghai: Drive C and drive D. I don't know if re-installing the system will affect the D disk?

 

7. Management

Guangzhou: Remote Desktop is supported. In case of an accident, the computer can only be restarted by customer service or telephone.

Shanghai: Remote Desktop is supported. You can also enable or restart Remote Desktop in Web mode, which is convenient.

 

8. whitelist

Guangzhou: after entering the information in Excel, send it to customer service and then add more information.

Shanghai: submitted online through web and approved. Convenient.

 

9. Customer Service

Guangzhou: dedicated Customer Service, enthusiastic. However, sometimes the response is slow. It is estimated that there are more people to cope.

Shanghai: I submitted a ticket through the Web, and the response was fast, but I felt I was not talking to anyone.
