However, the FreeSWITCH system has fewer Chinese data and less practical experience, which brings obstacles to developers. Our company uses FreeSWITCH development to do three years, from 1.0.6 to the latest version, accumulated a number of insights, is now in this and industry counterparts to share. 1, most of the current terminal, platform for bandwidth considerations, preferred g729 or g723 encoding, and FreeSWITCH call center media function must use these two coded transcoding way. Buying a hardware decoder card is the best way to do it, but it's valuable. It is a feasible low-cost scheme to use the computer to realize the encoding conversion, but it is necessary to compile g729ab or g723 encoding to support transcode. I suggest that the call center system preferably take g711 coding, eliminating the above trouble. 2, with the FreeSWITCH version, some of the MySQL and Callcener module commands, functions are different, when you upgrade FreeSWITCH may find that the original development using some of the normal functions can not be used. It is recommended to develop under a fixed version. 3, different version of the card support is also different, such as 1.0.7 is a more stable mature version, but in the model digital relay card support problems. It is recommended to change the high version at this time. 4, Callcenter module storage after the data will hang dead, must force kill, need to modify the compiled Callcenter module. 5, MySQL and PHP development version to be fixed.
