Experience on installing Oracle for Windows 7 Domain Users

First, make it clear that if the computer is not added to the domain, then the installation of Oracle10g is quite smooth. (My ThinkPad E40 was successfully installed)

 

During the installation process, the main issue is that the javaw.exe entry cannot be found, indicating that the DLL file link is incorrect. If an object is damaged on the internet, delete it.

In fact, I do not know the cause of this error. Because of the javaw.exe problem, I naturally think it is related to virtual machines.

So I uninstalled my virtual machine version 1.5 and changed it to jdk1.6. (This cannot be solved, but after I change it, The javaw.exe entry cannot be found to solve the problem)

 

Okay, at this time,Oracle can be installed normally. However, you cannot create a database.

 

I was troubled by the inability to create databases for a day. I installed it with a local system administrator, and it was very smooth. However, when switching to a domain user, no matter how hard it is to install. View the configuration file under Network/admin, and the result has no write permission.

 

Originally,Win7 is disgusting to control the permissions of every user in each file. In other words, even if my domain users are added to the system administrator group, I still cannot write the three common configuration files under the Oracle directory.

 

So I am patient.The permissions of the three files are reconfigured. Then create a database (you need to restart the listener before creating the database .)
