Second, enhance the color management function
Sometimes the colors in the same image can be viewed differently on different monitors, and the color of the image used for the printer output may vary from the color of the printed image, because each device has its own unique color space. To generate a consistent color between different devices, you must use color management.
Many of the prepress workers are in Photoshop to complete color separation and image adjustment work. In Photoshop, you can use color management to design the color of the screen, the Gamma line, and the inkjet blending ratio of the printer to prevent color overflow or distortion when the image is exported. Photoshop Color Management function with the version of the upgrade is also constantly developing, almost every version of the color management functions are different, but the overall trend is the color management effect is getting better and wider application areas.
The biggest improvement in Photoshop CS2, in addition to maintaining the advantage of previous versions of color management, is that it is easy to synchronize color settings through Adobe Bridge between different programs in the Adobe Creative Suite.
When you set up color management in Adobe Bridge, color settings are automatically synchronized between those programs. Synchronization ensures consistent color between all Adobe Creative suite programs when you move documents. If the color settings are not synchronized, a warning appears at the top of each creative suite program's "Color Settings" dialog box, suggesting that you synchronize the color settings before starting a new document or working on an old document.
To synchronize color settings between different programs
First step: Start Adobe Bridge.
Step Two: Select the menu "Edit" → "Creative Suite color Settings" in the bridge window to open the Color Settings dialog box.
Step three: Select a color setting from the list and click the Apply button. If the default settings do not have what you need, you can choose Show Expanded List of Color Setting Files to display more settings. You can also install a custom settings file, such as a file from a print device provider, and then click Show Saved Color settings files.
Third, Version CUE 2.0
Version Cue is a content management tool launched by Adobe, which makes it easy for users to enhance the sharing of image files. The new version of version Cue 2.0 document management is built into the Adobe Creative Suite 2 environment to help users visually preview, track, and access the historical and alternate file versions of Adobe Creative Suite 2 projects. Whether it's a stand-alone designer or a team-work worker, version Cue 2 allows users to find the latest storage document or original version of the document in Photoshop CS 2, Adobe Bridge, Illustrator CS 2, Quickly preview image thumbnails in InDesign CS 2, InCopy CS2, and GoLive CS 2, or easily search for XMP metadata through version descriptions, keywords, authors, dates, and other ways.
Key additions to Version Cue 2.0
New versions of version Cue 2.0 are integrated with Adobe Bridge, and Bridge is the center of the work to view version Cue projects, process versions, and make replacement groups. In bridge you can search and view version cue files without having to open a component of the Adobe Creative Suite, and you can manipulate them directly, saving time to start other Adobe Creative suite. The new versioning feature allows users to create different versions of their work, for example, if you want to apply a picture to the current project without changing the original image, you can create a replacement (alternate) and handle the replacement version. Version Cue 2.0 also supports web-based collaborative commentary on Adobe PDF project files, as well as managing files generated by non-Adobe applications.
