Several members of the project team are studying groundwater and the environment, GIS know not a lot, so we often use the mapgis practical small function to help document, convenient for everyone to use, publish share!
1. organize EXCEL files (note X,Y coordinate correctness (carefully check), some cells have mandatory carriage return, to be removed).
2. Pull the box to select, and copy the data needed to generate the point file, open an empty Notepad file, paste the data into Notepad, and save (you will find that the mandatory carriage return at the end of the data will be quoted).
3. Open the MapGIS projection conversion module, select " projection transformation " , " User file Projection transformation "
4. The following dialog box appears, open the TXT file saved in the second step , set the starting position (first behavior attribute field), and other items that should be noted.
5. Click Set separator, separator symbol Select "tab " and " continuous separator symbol are involved in the separation " (because there may be empty data items), others are selected.
Select the attribute field row in the row of the property name , and choose 5 for the data type option after the property field of the numeric type , and set the number of small number fields.

7. go back to the user data Base File Projection Transformation dialog box, select Do not need projection, click Generate, generate Point file.
8. Right-click the workspace, select the Reset window, generate the point file, and then save the point file.
