1-cluster concept

Clustering-a service is provided through a group of computers

Feature 1: In Windows Server, only Enterprise and Datacenter Editions can provide cluster, in 2003, up to 8 nodes, support up to 16 nodes in 2008/2008 r2/2012

Feature 2:cluster implementation must require AD schema

Feature 3: At least three Nic, san,public,private

Features 4:cluster 2 modes a/p (Active Passive) and a/a mode when implemented

Feature 5cluster: Generally does not provide the balance of responsibility

Scenario: Backend storage server, e.g. SQL, Exchange Maibox, Hyper-V
