The Dreamweaver library project is located in the Dreamweaver Assets panel, as shown in Figure 14. It is part of the HTML file in the folder named "library" on the root site. Library projects simplify the process of editing and updating commonly used website components (such as the company logo or navigation bar on each website page. You can drag a copy from the "database" to any Web page of the website, but you can only edit the master database project, rather than directly edit the library project in the Dreamweaver document. Then, you can have Dreamweaver update each copy of the master database project when it is placed throughout the website. Similar to Fireworks components, the changes made to library documents in Dreamweaver are reflected in all library instances of the entire website.

To Export Fireworks files to the Dreamweaver Library, select the "Export" option under the "File" menu and select "Dreamweaver Library" from the Save type drop-down list ", A dialog box shown in Figure 15 is displayed, prompting you to create a Library folder.

Click "OK". The Select Folder dialog box is displayed. Select the Library folder where the Library file is located, as shown in Figure 16. Select "open" and return to the "Export" dialog box to name the library file. If the image contains slices, we can also select the slice option. Select "Put images in subfolder" to save the image in a separate folder. Click save. As shown in Figure 17.
