When using exp to export data in Linux:
Connect to: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0-Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options
The ZHS16CGB231280 Character Set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set have been exported.
Servers use the ZHS16GBK character set (possible Character Set conversion)
To export the specified table, use the regular path...
This may be because the character set settings in Linux user environment variables are different from those in the database.
I generally use the ZHS16GBK character set, so:
Export NLS_LANG = "simplified chinese. ZHS16GBK"
Export again:
Connect to: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0-Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Data Mining options
The ZHS16GBK and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character sets have been exported.
Exporting pre-schema process objects and operations
OK.
