Extracting the contents of a stored procedure from an SQL statement

Source: Internet
Author: User

First, list all the databases on the server.

--Get a list of databases
SELECT name from master.dbo.sysdatabases ORDER by name

Second, this is a way for all users to create stored procedures from the database.

--Get a list of stored procedures
--Type = ' P '---stored procedure
-Category = 0--user-created
SELECT * from sysobjects WHERE type = ' P ' and category = 0 ORDER by name

Then we can retrieve the contents of the query and stored procedure as follows:

--Get the contents of the stored procedure
--name = Stored Procedure name.
SELECT text
From syscomments
WHERE id = (SELECT ID from sysobjects WHERE name = ' Stored procedure name ')
