"F1" shortcut key cannot invoke Windows Help and Support

Failure phenomenon:

When Windows encounters a failure, we refer to or use the related features of Windows Help and Support (hereinafter called Help and Support). This feature needs to be implemented by tapping the F1 key under the system desktop, but because of some misoperation, an excessive optimization or system exception can cause the file association to fail. Unable to open the file, here is a way to open this feature by using the command line.

Note: This feature Windows7 and WINDOWS8 open mode is not consistent

Here's how to start this feature under Windows 7 systems.

First, you need to turn on the computer to the desktop, in the desktop state press the WIN+R key combination (the win key is the space bar left number of the second key position), open the "Run" dialog box, the following figure

Please enter WINHLP32 in the "Run" window and click the OK button as shown in the following image

When you click on the "OK" button, the computer opens the Help and Support dialog box, as shown below

This is resolved by using the command line method to open Help and Support on Windows 7 systems.

Here's how to use the search feature to open the Help and Support document in a Windows 8 system environment

First, please return to the Windows 8 system desktop, press the WIN+Q key combination, open the Metro interface under the "Search" function, as shown

Then, please enter "WINHLP32" in the search box and you can see the "winhlp32" file appears in the search results bar on the left side of the screen, as shown

You can then use the left mouse button to click the results of the search to "WINHLP32", you will be able to open the WIN8 under the Help and support file.
