He was speechless. After a while, he said, "It is very difficult for me to see my mentor, mainly working with his doctoral students ....."

Comment: here we understand what the current graduate tutor can offer to his/her students? I remember that when I was a graduate student (in the 1980s s of last century), I was able to meet my teacher on a weekly basis. At least during my thesis, I benefited a lot from my research methods and thoughts. Mentors and mentors are instructors who study ideas and work methods, including their influences on people and attitudes. To be called a "mentor" is actually a very difficult and proud thing. In fact, these graduate students have to pay about 30 thousand Yuan to complete their studies during the Postgraduate period, which does not include other fees. During the postgraduate course, I learned about 15 ~ For 20 courses, each course is worth more than 5000 yuan, but our students do not cherish it. Why?

1. I think that a graduate student is a Master of Engineering or a Master of Science diploma, which is one of the main ideological roots.
2. I am not clear about the status of graduate students, or lack the guidance of a "mentor". I am not clear about the abilities and advantages of graduate students. On the one hand, some graduate students know that "diploma" is not an advantage. Most enterprises focus on competence, experience, and personality. On the other hand, these graduate students still don't know-what do they want most during their research?
3. The way out for graduate students. After all, there are more and more graduate students, and most people still enter the enterprise after graduation. As long as the university graduates are doctoral graduates, the Institute is also sluggish or the Institute itself is a company, mainly engaged in projects and less research. From the perspective of projects and practical work, there is a big gap between what graduate students learn in college and practical applications. For example, many teachers in the computer department of a university do not know how software products are actually developed. The programming and project management mentioned above are both in books and theoretically, therefore, the enthusiasm of graduate students is naturally poor.

What is the status of graduate education?In summary, if the tutor earns money from the tutor, the student must make money to pay the tuition fee. The tutor is helpless to the student and the student is helpless to the tutor. The onlookers are helpless to graduate education.
